Ethan is a nice guy that does good for other people. Ethan Fromes pathetic

fallacy is that he is as well as nice and too caring. Ethan has to turn over boot of his mama and

bring forth, Ethan cant leave the farm to Zeena and run away with Mattie, and he commands

money from the hales however he doesnt want to ask.

Ethan has to take concern of his find and the farm. He was going to go to

college and become an engineer but his mother became sick and couldnt take care

of the farm. So Ethan had to give up his dreams and help care for his mother and

take care of the farm. Zeena was helping to take care of Ethans mother and Ethan

decided he had to marry her because he matte that he owed her for helping to take care

of his mother. Ethan would have gone underpin to college after his mother died but Zeena

became complicated and Ethan had to stay and care for Zeena and the farm. Which

shows that Ethans pathetic fallacy is that he is too nice and too caring.

Ethan doesnt want to run away with Mattie and leave the farm to Zeena because

if he left her the farm she wouldnt be able to take care of the farm and she wouldnt

be able to sell it.



Ethan cant do this to Zeena because he is not that kind of person that

would leave them with a good-looking responsibility and when theyre sick too. Also the people

of Starkfield would look down on Ethan for leaving Zeena while she is sick for Mattie

and leaving Zeena with the whole farm and she would be lonely. Ethans pathetic

fallacy is that he is too nice and too caring.
