The meaning is that considering oneà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s being attests to, and of itself, that one thinks and so exists. Descartes explains that people cannot question their existence. Descartes is trying to determine whether he could confirm that he lives. It is impossible to perfect by oneself. It is impractical to one to exist without having the abili ty to think. In addition, it is impossible to think without the influence of an eternal endowment. Descartes (2012) acknowledges that something must come from somewhere and that he could not derive any wisdom by himself.ÂHe goes on to conclude that it was instilled in him by nature that is perfect than him. The nature that Descartes alludes to is God, which possess all the perfections. Since human beings can think; that they did not create, there must be another being that exists. God exists and instills in human beings the power to think.
